Shaw family calls for Victorian Government to consider assisted death laws

“If Victorian laws allowed assisted death, Peter and Pat Shaw – the Melbourne couple who chose to end their lives together last year – may have chosen to live longer, their daughters say.┬áIn a submission to Victoria’s parliamentary inquiry into end-of-life choices, the Shaw sisters said that although suicide is legal, their parents risked being charged with several criminal offences as they planned their deaths in October.”
