“A growing number of states have passed laws decriminalizing marijuana for medical use, but concerns that the move would lead to an increase in recreational pot use among teens and young adults are not supported by federal survey data. Analysis of a decade’s worth of National Survey of Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) reports showed no evidence of an increase in marijuana use among teens and adults younger than age 26 from 2004 to 2013.”
